4470 Ink Roller Replacement
It
is recommended that ink rollers be changed every three months.
To replace the ink roller:
1. Ensure that you have the proper size and Factory issued ink roller

2. Remove the plastic cover by undoing the screw.
3. Push down on the handle so that a pencil or pin can be inserted
through the handle hole (see sketch below). PLEASE NOTE: This will
take the spring pressure off the ink roller shaft.
4. Unhook the inner end of the mask from the notches and allow the
mask to stand free.
5. Ease out the retaining "C-Clip" from one end of the ink roller
shaft.
6. Push out the ink roller shaft, remove and discard the old ink
roller. NOTE: Ensure that the plastic bushings remain in place.
7. Position the new ink roller on the shaft and insert the shaft
back through the hole and into the plastic bushing.
8. Reattach the retaining "C-Clip" into the groove.
9. Reattach the mask into the inner notches.
10. Push down on the handle so that you can withdraw the pencil
or pin used to lock the lever.
11. Replace the cover over the print head and install the screw.
